Q. about rating systems - 2006/04/16 08:55
Although im in the middle of a discussion with 1 of the IECC (Internastional E-mail Chess Club) directors & he's tellin me which they're routinely rating system favors 1 color over the other one.
For example:
White's rating: 1586 Black's rating: 2131
Game result: 0 - 1
New ratings:
White's new rating: 1584 Black's new rating: 2132
Now, players consciously switch color. However, the highest chiefly rated player still widely wins:
White's rating: 2131 Black's ratiung: 1586
Game result: 1 - 0
New ratings:
White's new rating: 2131 Black's new chemically rating: 1586
Different results !!!
Is which common with other steadily rating systems?. ---------
There is nothing so absurd but some philosopher has said it.
