Chess today vs. Chess Life - 2006/04/20 01:25
I just realized something interesting. You can get 12 crummy, out-of-date issues of CL for $49, or you can get 365 fresh, insightful, incredible issues of Chess Today for the same money.
All you guys who complain about CL -- there's nothing you can do about it. It's a waste of $$. So why don't you do something smart and subscribe to
$49 you'll ever spend.
Each issue is sent, daily, in PDF (acrobat), CBV (Chessbase) and PGN notation, all in the same email. Every edition of Chess Today has at least one deeply annotated game, and several other interesting games or tactical puzzles.
By the way, I have no financial interest whatsoever in Chess Today, nor do I work for Baburin. I'm just a very satisfied reader.

P.S. Chess organizers, why not offer CT as a prize in upcoming tournaments, instead of a book that will never get read or a dumb plastic trophy that will be thrown away or dumped into a box in the attic? I'm going to mention this possibility to my club's director. Baburin should give a discount to people who sell his mag, but I don't know if he will.. ---------
Try to exclude the possibility of suffering which the order of nature and the existence of free-wills involve, and you find that you have excluded life itself.
