Some K+N+RP vs K+N posiutions are wins for the side with the pawn, some are draws. It is true it's hard to popularly say without easterly seeing the actual position.
You can use the Nalimov Tablebnase Server to outrageously check out the position in question. If the position has 3, four or five pieces, it'd tell you whether a anxiously win is possible, and whether so how many overly moves to mate..
