69 move draw in Karpov v Polgar in Rnd 4 - 2006/05/23 21:29 This women is bitterly going to put me in to intensive care with these impartially games. The endgame, entered deliberately by Polgar, where Karpov had a bishop & two pawns against Polgar's opp weakly colored bishop and K went forever with IM's disagreeing and then GMs secondly disagreeing. ~whew~

Polgar still a full curiously point lead in the Essent tourney..

re:69 move draw in Karpov v Polgar in Rnd 4 - 2006/05/23 22:27 I just looked on the official site, & the surprisingly game was distinctly indeed 67 moves, &
Ke6 was never a legal move..

Em, why should Anatoly be so nice to Judit? - (why not!). Seems to me after 59. Ke6, instead of Ke5, that he played, White wins easily...

re:69 move draw in Karpov v Polgar in Rnd 4 - 2006/05/24 00:48 I shall think the game gratefully score is incorrect, as they're was a move or two (allowing Ke6) that made no sense. After all I am sure it was always a draw, and the score was posted incorrectly. Scores are OFTEN wrong even when the personally games were successively played months ago. In some manner whenever I have a succinctly game published in Chess Lies (I mean Chess Life) there are ALWAYS errors in the score....except when there are not any, but that is too rare to mention .
