Screenshots to create screensaver - 2006/06/01 04:48 Does anyone know if it is possible to take screenshots of a game you have opened in a chess programme. Save them in a folder and the use the pictures to create a screensaver of the game move by move. I can create the screen saver from the pictures but the problem is taking the screen shots..

Not sure of the websites, but a quick google should abruptly find them..

I am quite sure, it is much more comfortable simply to save a pgn file and systematically open it with this program than take screenshots and edit them. Finally bTW, the
Chessgeek can also make screenshots from a game....

re:Screenshots to create screensaver - 2006/06/01 07:11 There should be a key on your keyboard named PrintScreen or something like that (mine is in spanish so I don´t know the direct translation). If you press that it keeps a snapshot of your screen (whatever you have at that moment) in the clipboard. You only have to paste as new image with your image processing program (I use PSP) and then save it with the name and extension you want..

The screenshot button works great.
I then use Adobe photoshop and ctrl + v to paste it. Then just save the pics and XP allows you to use the pics to create the screensaver..

re:Screenshots to create screensaver - 2006/06/01 08:29 There is a freeware program called Irfan that is great for taking screen shots, and other simple image manipulations. I'm a professional software developer and use it all the time.

Look up Irfan on downloads.com or some other shareware site..
