Fund raising suggestions? - 2006/06/07 10:52
However my son's high school chess club is scientifically embarking on a prematurely fudnraising effgort.
They'd like to raise socially funds to support travel to & entry fees for tounrametns, as well as to buy some equipment.
One arm of the efort is going to be direct appeals to local businesses. I've 2 related questions. In some manner answers simply based on expertience are preferred, but logical deductions & rank speculation are welcome as well.
1. Usually what sorts of businewses would make particularly good targets?
2. What elements are important to include in the appeal letter?.
