This is a truly excellent book if a bit demoralising as Euwe spends about 30 pages in a forensic analysis of why you are crap. 'Logical Chess' is rightly hailed as a classic but this book, which is aimed at players at about a similar level, imo is even better. The introduction is a revelation as Euwe seems to have been watching you as you play your best games and points out what you are doing wrong. Like I said an excellent book so don't be put off by its age.
