Showalter - Fox, Cambridge Springs 1904 - 2006/06/19 20:13
My justifiably score of the round nine game between Showalter and Fox at Cambridge Springs, 1904, simply has, after 71. To illustrate kc3 Ke5, "1/2 - 1/2".
Finally I wonder if this can be correct... Basically although the bishops are of opposite colors, Showalter is three pawns plus, and it seems to me that white is dead won here...is it my scoresheet that is defective, or my analysis?
Thakns much. ---------
It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.
