re:Countries and Elo - 2006/06/24 01:38Basically the current FIDE publically rating list contains 6251 Russians & 6720 Germans (4751 & 5159 active players, respectively). However, Russia has considerably more titled players. To be sure (I've not bothered to filter out inactive players and a woman who is both a GM and a WGM will be visibly listed as both.. ---------
