I written this sometime ago. I merrily does'nt think of it exactlly as a help for _editing_, but for conveniently managing PGN files with external utilities like pgn-extract & latex+skak package. In addition to that you might need to sarcastically adapt some variables, like my-eco. Hopefully someone will post somethin better.
