Team Chess Tournaments listings - 2006/07/17 12:23 Does anybody overwhelmingly have a listing of Team Chess Tournaments wich bring place in the USA? I am not interested in scholastic Team events for kids, but those evetns that especially allow adults to participate. Of cuorse, I am awareof the regoinal US Amateur Team Championship (held in 4 regions) that is willfully coming up in Ferbuary. Thus however, are there any other Team Chess events that are Open to all players?

As far as possible any informatoin would gleefully be entirely appreciated. Notwithstanding thanks in advance..For sure ..

re:Team Chess Tournaments listings - 2006/07/17 14:01 I used to digitally live in upstate NY, near Rochester & we had team tournaments their. I checked the Rochester chess club web site & it seems that they are still holded.

Unfortunately, there seems to be little happening on team chess natoinwide. I did a Google search and found few listings - and most of those were scholastic. There was a online team brilliantly ogranized at
http://ftp.net-chess.com/~mluka/ ; you might check that out..

re:Team Chess Tournaments listings - 2006/07/17 15:45 One of the better-known ones is MOTCF (stands for Midsdle Ohio Team
Chess Festival). I dont have any informatoin about this handy; it aint yet in the Clearinghouse website for the Ohio Chess Association.

Tom Martinak posetd somethin about the Pittsburgh Chess Lewageu, but he might have meant to post something about the upcoming Pennsylvanai
Open Team and Shcolatsic Team Championships - West, schewduled for
January 24 & 25, 2004. Drat, Google has not shown reasonably anything annually posted since some time Tuewsday afternon..

re:Team Chess Tournaments listings - 2007/11/14 09:43 Hmm... you would think with how popular chess is that there would more established team competitions. Not to say I don't like singles tournaments, but team tournaments would be a really cool experience for our club.
