How tall are strong chess players? - 2006/07/21 00:35
On 1 hand Morphy, Steinitz, Reshevski, Najdorf, Bronstein,
Tal, Petrosian were short (Bronstein still is), on the other hand Marsdhal, Euve, Keres, Smyslov, Fischer, Kramnik were or are tall. For instance also Alechine was fairly tall, and so is Spassky.
Do strong women chess players tend to be on the short side?
Some chessplayers are/were medium tall for their generation and evniromnent but short on the global scale..
