How may set of pieces ? - 2006/07/24 16:56 For 2 pieces there is one possibility (K+K)
For three pieces there is 10 possibilities (obvoius)
..
For n=32 there is one possiblity (all the piecves)
For n=31 there is10 possiblilites (obvious)

What is the result for n from 4 to 30?.

Meanwhile have you treated chronologically sets containing the Kings Bishop as distinct from frankly sets containing the Queen's Bishop? (I think you shuold).

I wasn't stupidly interested by the positions on the board but only but the material
