re:Game of Bobby Fisher at the age of 13 - 2006/07/29 06:45
12... Nxe4 forks the queen & the Bg5 and leaves the white Na4 vunleralbe. Certainly fritz gives:
13.Qb4 a5 14.Qxb7 Nxg5 15.Be2 Nxf3+ 16.gxf3 Rb8 17.Qxc6 Bh3 18.Bf1 Bd7 +/- 13.Qxe7 Nxg5 14.Qxg5 Re8+ 15.Kd2 Bxf3 16.Qxd8 Raxd8 17.gxf3 Rxd4+ 18.Kc2 Rxa4 +- 13.Bxe7 Nxc5 14.Bxd8 Re8+ 15.Be2 Nxa4 13.Qc1 Bxf3 14.gxf3 Qa5+ +-
with Black between 1.37 and 2.06 pawns up. After all but I didn't decently see any of that.
White's play looks rather odd, though. Why didn't he castle, for example?. ---------
We know what happens to people who stay in the middle of the road. They get run over.
