Chess Programs in Schools - 2006/08/02 15:30
As we head into the school year, I would like to encourage anyone who is evaluating proposals for teaching chess, such as parents and school officials, to look the program critically, to insure:
1) That the instructors know chess 2) That the instructors are able to effectively instruct the students 2) That the curriculum is clearly identified 3) That all claims with respect to safety and identity of instructors, such as health screening (TB, for example), "certification," DoJ screening, fingerprinting, etc. is sufficient, documented, and actually is actually taking place.. ---------
My main objective is to be professional but to kill him.
