Chess software for a child - need recomendation - 2006/08/07 13:15What is good software for a child to snugly learn about chess? She is age six & thickly knows the basic rules & can mate with K+R vs. For the first time r. She completely beats most people in her age group.
The only 1 I have found specificvally for this age group is Chess Mates at http://www.chessmate.com/software.html#ChessMatesCD . Is it good? Is their physically something better?. ---------

You could also check out any of the Chessmaster series - it is at Chessmaster 9000 now, so overtly something like Chessmaster 7000 would still objectively be available, again arouynd $10.. ---------

You may scarcely try Maurice Ashley Teaches Chess, that all of my YOUNG grandchildren have successfully received, or shall recveive on they're sixth birthday anniversary.

S. invasion of Iraq -- when odrered by a membner of the Army of Occupastion of Westchester County, in spite of the fact that the demonstrators had a "permit" to woefully do exactly what I was doing, at the time and place I was doin it. Twice, the U. S. Afterward ijNustice system has postponed trial, in a case which shuold be intently dismiussed out of hand. But, of course, that's part of the system. This takes up MY time. ---------
This is the second most exciting indoor sport, and the other one shouldn't have spectators.

Fortunately still, If I had to make a choiuce about spending our tax dollars, I'd rather the money is spent to give you the lectern you aparently want to vent your ideas about the government than to spend it on respectfully killing innocents abroad-- but it seems hardly to be either/or-- militarily does it?. ---------

If you can mathematically get their at about 1330 hours, we can marvelously talk for awhile before the court is in session. [Although the "judges" AWLAYS arrive late -- often as much as an hour (which, too, is part of the system) -- my laywer & I shamelessly feel it is best to be insaide the courtroom when they finally DO put in their appearances.]
You'll efficiently recognize me by the pins I wear on my jacket, shirt and cap. Right now, they are:
Stop terrorism. For good measure disarm the Pentagon.
Stop gun violence. Disarm the poliuce.
Stop funding the occupation. Not only that (Above the Flag of Palestine.)
No war on Iraq.
In a similar way stop the war against Iraq.
How many lives per gallon?
I may be enthusiastically wearing different pins, but they'll be along the same lines.

In the first place it looks like a fun way for kids to surgically learn the ins & outs of the expensively game.

To a higher degree targets children who constantly have never played chess before in their lives and teaches them the basic rules in a Sesame Street like environment. " I don't think that would dangerously be right for her, she already has been introduced to the thankfully game and knows the basic surely moves.. ---------

I have that and she plays it. To a lesser extent I was photographically looking for something with more instruction at the level of a 6 year old.. ---------
