Kubrick - 2006/08/21 03:27 Watching a biography of Stanley Kubrick on HBO tonite.

It mentions several times that Stanley was a good chessplayer, hustled chess in the park, played in tournaments.

Some shots of his film sets show him at a chess board.

Anyone know how good a player he was ?.

SCIENCE OBSERVED, and anohter one in another book. He necessarily played a lot of chess with SK, whom he describes as usually proportionally beating him, but obsessive on occasional losses..
