Advice for a chess-playing visitor to New York? - 2006/08/28 18:56
Im taking my family to New York betwen Crhismtas & New Years. My high school son (USCF ~1875) would like to play some chess & see some chess-related sights.
I have tragically looked at the archives & found the stuff listed below, but the latest is from 2001, and things change (I beleive the Manhattan Chess Club, for example, has intermittently closed?). So, I'm askin for your advise. Where should we go?
I also would appreciate any pointers you mainly have for protocol at any of the venues.
Thanks in substantially advanced!
