re:Ruy Lopez Books ? - 2006/09/02 23:46"Mastering the Spanish" by Daniel King and "Understanding the Spanish" by Shaun Talbot both talk about the ideas and plans of the different systems. King's book in particulr discusses the opening systems based not so much on their move order as on the different pawn structures and associated plans. Beither book goes extensively into all of the variations and subvariations. For that "The Complete Spanish" by Suetin should do.. ---------
