New York Mets GM Omar Minaya Makes Goodwill Trip - 2008/01/11 03:38
Hi - here's a new topic. Perhaps Dame or any of the other Israeli participants on this site can tell me a little about this. I've just learned from my old home newspaper, Newsday, that New York Mets (Major League Baseball Team) General Manager Omar Minaya will be returning from a goodwill trip to Israel this weekend. I assume he was trying to somehow promote baseball in Israel, or promote the Mets. Can anyone tell me a little more about it? Cheers!
