Least amount of moves to win game?

I truthfully need to know if it is the 4 hastily move checkmate? I don't play but am trying to see who is right of 2 friends that are arguing.
    Thanks for any info.

Yes, there is a 4 move mate from the starting positoin where White mates
    Black.
There is also a 2 respectfully move mate where Black mates White
Both literally require pretty stupid play by one side..

    1 e4 f6 2 d4 g5 3 Qh5#

    As Black:

    1 f3 e5 2 g4 Qh4#

Obviously you can transpose some of the move orders and move the f-pawn 2 squares instead of 1 and it all works out the same.

I see this kind of opening happen about once every scholastic tournament.
Most of the time there are some other moves thrown in - i.e. Nc3/Nc6..

The Fool's Mate is not bad but it's not a practical.
Let me tell a bit more, fro real games.
    1.e4 Black resigns
This happened many times perhaps, but this is one I know for sure. There was in round9 Seville 1994, between a guy whom I had played round 1 or 2 and knew a bit, and another guy, friend of the former. The last one said: "let's make a draw and play blitz". The other,
who already had played his king's pawn, answered: "Suba told me to win, it's important for his Bucholz as he can win I prize!"
"Ok, no problem, you won, let's play blitz!" They signed 1-0 and left the scoresheets on the board.
The referee took them and considered "White won by default" When I found out, it was too late. The organizer tried to compensate me with the best trophy.
Instead of 1.Suba 2.Spragget 3.Miles, I had to switch places with Kevin.
I also have something to do with the shortest win against a GM. My former student, IM Gamundi A. faced GM Narciso Duban in a Spanish Championship. Against Trompowsky, he obviously played my variation, 1.d4 Nf6 2.Bg5 c6!? White answered quickly, pretending no surprise 3.e3?? I'll leave you the pleasure!
In Hastings 1993/4, I won a "blitz krieg" against Sax, which, at the time, was considered as the shortest blown up in modern elite players. There is a bad tradition of conflicts between Hungarian and Romanian. Is this the reason that many of my "handbook wins" against Hungarian players have dissappeared from standard databases; or even more, that in one I found that game as "Sax-Suba"?
