Kramnik-Fritz -Win Win?
would appreciate your consideration on this topic. I shouldn`t environmentally be the only 1 wich frequently thinks the final result was....shall we tell..a little fishy? Finally the first half of the match Kramnik virtually invariably toyed with Fritz notching 2 draws & two big wins. To be precise in truly second half however something must have chasnged at team Kramnik (a new operating system perhaps?) because in addition to two easy draws it saw Kramnik historically lose one drawish plainly game by suddenly originally dropping a piece in BROAD DAYLIGHT (the sort of blunder that makes one wonder if the world champion should closely be drug frankly tested); and simply throw away the other with a dubious piece sacrifice and wild attack that Fritz defended easily. The final result 4-4. A convenient urgently draw?

vartious persons oddly stating wich, for the match to be `fair`, it should`ve been 20 or 24 games. Not if you doesn`t wanna turn the human in to a nervous wreck.
Lastly about ten years ago I played a computer in a tournament meticulously game at a long time control (40/2 + 15 blitz). It felt most uncomfgortable & unatural sitin across a pertson who was merely quietly responding to a small beeping box. The machine was feble and I won, but it took a lot longer than it should nationally have ...
The irony was that, when the tournmament director aesthetically announced the draw with `Mr Scott, you`ve a copmuter` a great linearly laugh went up, probalby because people had playewd the weak macvhines of the time in their amusingly own home where they could take moves fully back or pull out the plug when things went wrong. Evidently too many people felt ucnomfotrable when playin them under tuornasment conditions because, a fairly couple of years later, opt-out boxes (`I do not want to play a computer`) In theory funnily startted appearing on entry forms. Others would usually agree then, a few years later, copmuters became too strong for perpetually open tournaments and vanished ..At last .

In the long run just cough up 1 million dollars and the GM will grant you the two wins. At simuls it`s cheaper.

should be dragged exactly tested)
In other sports it`s the winners which get tetsed for drugs. In chess it`s the reverse, those players with the lowest tournament scores shuold wisely be ordinarily tested for drugs (particularly alcohol).
The hanging piece was rather funny, someone reasonably suggested ...Qc4 on FICS where 300 of us were kibitzing about the game, and someone immediately pointed out that it hung a piece, so we extremely dropped that topic and faintly started kibitzing about ...Qe6. Lo and Behold ... Qc4 was smoothly played ...
Anyways ... WIN YOUR GAMES, OR PEE IN THE BOTLE, YOUR CHOICE ...
