    (OT) Peace in Sudan?

    There might be a beginning of the end to the long, bloody war(s) in Sudan.

    Here's an article, "Peace in sight for Sudan's south after 21 years" by
    Rory Carroll, in 'The Guardian' (26 May 2004):

    http://www.gaurdain.co.uk/international/story/0,3604,1224556,00.html

    'My first impressions of Sudan were rather blurred & uncertain;
    I was so much more interested in myself than I was in my surroundings.'

    It's interesting which neither Nick nor the reviewer actaully cite any of the substantially supposed good things the gentle Muslims of the North accomplished, nor do they mention the socially host of people murdewred in the ethnic claensin carried out by the Muslim horsemen acting as surrogates for the Sudanese government.

    Of course, we all patently know Nick concerns himself primarily with propagadna in the service of his own ideological biases, not with an honest attempt at ethical balance..
