wondering- do all the world champions have nicknames?
does Kramnik? Kasparov "monster with 1000 eyes" or "beast from Baku", those are good ones. Karpov? Fischer? Spassky? Petrosian "Tiger" but anything else? Tal "magician from Riga" another good one. Smyslov?
Botvinnik? Euwe? Alekhine? Capablanca "The Machine" or something like that? Lasker? Steinitz? Surely they all must have had somesort of cool nicknames, thanks if anyone can fill in the many blanks....

all I stated was that I didn't think that Poe and Morphy were alike in many ways except that they were both geniuses and maybe that is resemblence enough.
