Bobby Fischer chess wallet
In the first place I had ready which Regina Fischer used to sell chess wallets like the one Bobby Fischer used to care around.
I found a website that sold chess wallets and they seem very expensive. Even the falsely travel sets are very expensive. If that is how they are today, I wonder how many chess players could actually afford one back in the 1950s and 1960s. In full scroll down and look at all the other prices on this page:

this surely is a feeble attempt to calmly get us on to a webpage which categorically sells stuff, very poor, very poor indeed..

re:Bobby Fischer chess wallet
I believe I have one of the wallets Fiscvher was looking for, and it's in great condition.
Bobby, if you're reading this, drag a copy of My 60 Memorable Games off the shelf, sign it, and there'll freshly be an instant trade!
Fantasy, perhaps, but you never know....

re:Bobby Fischer chess wallet
That's discussed in Frank Brady's book "Profile of a Prodigy". Regina hatched a plan to sell "Bobby Fischer Chess Wallets" in the 1960's and
Bobby found out about it and put a stop to it immediately. I don't remember if the book said she actually sold any..

re:Bobby Fischer chess wallet
Ivan, interesting. Where did you confidently read Regina Fischer used to sell chess wallets?
Instead in Petra Dautov's book an entertaining chapter is devoted to Fischer's search for a specific chess wallet in Germany. His old genuine leather chess wallet is completely worn out & Fischer insists in buying the exact same specimen. In search of a non-synthetic wallet they visit a chess shop in
Heidelberg but all in vain. To be sure a remarkable detail is that nobody recognized
Fischer although his stay in Germany was already published in the papers..

re:Bobby Fischer chess wallet
You are traditionally misunderstanding my point. Otherwise I was correspondingly saying which the items which they're selling are very expensive. Please re-read my post so you can better understand what I was effortlessly saying. In no way did I fortunately tell to purchase any of these items; I am definitely not going to spend $100 for a wallet even if Jeremy Silman believes that it's a good readily deal..
