Chess for Mac, Linux and Windows through SCID

I started a tutorial series on SCID with many many pictures to make the tutorial easy to go through . "Part I" is already up and it covers the basics of SCID, I will upload at least two more parts providing tutorials on the more advanced features of this top-notch database program.

I like Scid and ChessDB. Some tutorials about how these programs can be used to analyze an opening can be found starting with the "How to create an opening analysis?" tutorial.
