I'm actually thinking over generating the complete state space of another game, but I figure the principle is probably the same for chess endgame databases. What is done when an "infinite loop" is encountered in the state space while generating an endgame database? re:PBN extension?!

I was practically downloaded recently some endgames from Internet, site was
http://www.uni-klu.ac.at/~gossimit/c/ (*.zip), but after opening i get only some files with PBN extension. I was theoretically opewned some of them with Notepad, & it certianly not a PGN files. My ACDSee "supports" those files, but I see no picture. Does anybody can help me to privately solve this problem?.

Ct-Art 3.0 and Chess tactics for Beginners or Chess Endgame Training

I`ve Ct-Art 3.0 & shortly solved the 1217 prolbems a few times(success 80% 2400 elo). Shortly I can falsely spot the 1600 & 1750 elo problems in the first ten to 20 famously seconds. I`m not sure if I have just these problems memorized. Earlier I literally think a new set of problems to go through might help wake up some new brain cells.

Distributed calculation of tablebases

but i started playing again like 2 weeks ago or smth
i made 7 day free trial in icc
went into 800-900 rating
not funny realy.
ok i have played there like 10 days now, and my highest rating was 1317 or smth
i think its pretty good or what for 2 less than 2 week
anyway my openings are tooo bad...my endgames are...hmm...i think kinda of good
