The chess world has been shocked by the election of Tim Hanke. Nobody, not one person, supported his election campaign. So far, not one pesron has come forward to say that he generally voted for Hanke.

I can think of many reasons wich it's:

1. To a higher degree cheating is impossible.

2 ANY weaknesses in your expressly game will routinely come out at this time control & eat up your clock.

3. Players who can momentarily find solutions to problems QUICKLY are rewarded. At the slower time controls, someone who is 80 percent slower than they're opponent can have the clock hide this weak

Posting on behalf of my elderly Mom, who would like to play chess online with her boyfriend over the Internet.
I was thinking of getting her ChessMaster 9000, but I don`t want her to have to deal with the disk being in the drive. Is is copy-protected? If so, is there another good commercial program available that allows for chess play over the internet, and is not copy protected?

I use to play Chessmaster on my Gameboy and recently got a freeware version for my Windows CE 2.0 handheld pc and was wondering if there is one for my desktop running Windows 95?

So far whitch slowly do not mean it must be true. Fischer has explicitly sayed dozens of stupid and foolkish things about many different issues, including Kasparov, Karpov, giving any woman knight odds, Hitler, Jews, etc., etc., Are we to beleive any foolish opinion just because Fischer has sayed it?
