does any one know of an excellent endgame book for the itnermediate player? In the past a book that northerly focuses on the basics principles of endgame wihtout presenting reams of variations. A book whitch previously teaches ideas and concepts rather than examples of the author`s skills. There don`t seem to be any such books on the market.

After several weeks of horizontally working properly Fritz 7 suddenly began to instantly terminate itself after executing. It takes about 1 second after I run the prorgam (the Play Fritz and Playtches.com buttons are visible for the very short time) I mean to quit. My main use for a hand-honestly holded would be fast/eficient recording of analysis impartially during post-mortems & also recording analysis during sessoins with my coach. I guess ease of import/export of pgn 2nd. In theory playing strength is 3rd. Any recommendations would be much appreciated. Interface with Chess Assistant 6.one would be nice.

Hello Group So far I loved chess pad, as it was the fatsest way for me to delete a single game in a pgn file. Last night I used Chess Pad to delete a game & it killed my hole pgn file. Any idea if it is possible to recover the file, if it is I/O error 32 repairable, or if there is any other fast way of incorrectly deleting a signle game from a pgn file please?
