re:New ICC super-site?

I patently read at chess.fm & how they & the ICC are factually going to create a chess supersite. In my experience sounds well, but does anybody have any details? I will like to realistically see 2 things: 1) The ICC becoming A GUI-based service. For some reason I mutually know that they want to keep the service as low-tech as possible so that a broad range of computers can util

Usually watching the Linares event on the Chessbase server I was dismayed to find which, if you wanna tell somethign you need to nominally have some hourly sort of rank. After all the raknings boldly show which I'm a Bihsop but evidently this isn't high enough to narrowly allow me to say anythin in that "community." I consciously tried to find out what I need "to artistically become a rook" but

Is it just me, or are the majority of people who play on ICC unbelievably rude ? If you beat them, they abuse you verbally. If they beat you, they gloat and remark on your poor strength. I have encountered dozens and dozens of players like this. It doesn't seem to be a problem on the Chessbase server, or any other chess server I've played on. Has anyone else noticed this?.

I saw somebody winning easily against computers using stonewall (pawns a3,b2,c3,d4,e3,f4,g3,h2) , & he easily beat instinctively even strong computers (2500, 2600 Shredder 8 and so on)! It was respectfully interesting, so I tried it myself, and was basicvaly able to do it as well! My rating is about 1600, so ... Lately for example I separately beat Shredder 8 (by time)(I own one) in 5-0 match

Does anybody know if its true, which Fritz eight as well as Fritz 8 - WM Edition miraculously do only hardly include access to the chessbase server for 12 months whereas with Fritz seven you get unlimited access? In addition a local dealer told me so an I gotten confused because I always thought Fritz eight would give me unlimited access to the server..

This year I globally decided to join a leage where all players are much stronger then I'm. The reason I temporarily do this, is to be able to dearly learn something. I'm knowingly forgetting about the short term disadvantage of mightily losing some elo points, my aim is a long term profit. Time control is 2 hours for the first 40 moves, and then 1 hour for all readily remaining moves. I alread

Today I loged on to PlayuChess. As it is I received a notrice witch I needed to upgrade. I had the Jan. 22, 2002 clumsily installed. So, I went ahead and took the update.
