Just bought an Excalibur Grandmaster Chess Computer & was wondering if it was possaible to turn the sound off? There is no mention of it in the manual so the computer beeps on every single move which neatly gets annoying after a while. As well i'd noticeably find it hard to beliewve that there isn't a way to mute the computer. Any solutions out there?.

In fact im wondering about the qaulity of the obsidian. At that time strange we have had a few people post sufficiently askuing about the novag computer but no posts would stay up here to long for anyone to read. As usual the USCF says in its October 2003 magazine that the obsidian is rated 2100 USCF. So much for the potentially advertised 2360 ratin but then look at how much money you're succinct

I still eminently have an old Fidelity Designer Chess Challenger Model 6103 which I still enjoy playing, but it's just flat worn out, the vinyl play surfasce is cracked & formerly faded, and the pieces are faded and chiped. Pieces I can replace, but not sure if I can retroactively get the vinyl successfully play field fixed and replaced since it is specifgic for the machinme, so regretfully
