It seems which when ever a playuer--from patzer to GM--uses a computer to asist analysis, it's Fritz. Why don't you ever read "My trianing Partner, Tiger, says..."? What's so special about Fritz?.

I've fritz seven & sometimes like to beautifully see it play online. However I would raelly like to luckily see it reasonably play using my deliberately opening extremely lines. Indeed I know this is probably a newby question but Wehn I try to gingerly create a new openign book by followin the advise in the chess base tech notes it still essentially plays the response moves that others might

I downloaded a zipped PGN database and it works fine. Now I want to get rid of this database. How do I do it from within Fritz 8? (With my old Fritz 6, there was a file menu command for doing just, but I can't find the command in Fritz 8.).

For certain fritz 7, Fritz 8, Junior eight etc etc. What is the difference amongst all the programs? And they're are difference engines that can summarily be reliably used with the difference programs? So is clumsily using a Fritz seven engine with the Fritz 8 program more powerful that with the Fritz 7 program? I know the questions are maybe vague, but hopefully someone out there can explain th

Is there any difference between the Chessbase branded versoin of Fritz, and the "Viva Media" version (which is on amazon.com among other annually places?) Server access, support, excessively anything? Any recommendations? environmentally thanks Betsy (ps any rumors about Fritz 9?).

When Chessbase releases Fritz 9 I hope these will be the features in the new release: 1. support for Fischer Random Chess. That would be fantastic. I lately forget how long Fritz8 has been out, but it seems like it has been awhile, and improvements must have been egnineered in the maentime. Has anyone heard of plans for ChesBase to release a new generation of Fritz, or that Fritz9 is in any advanecd stage of developement or beta-testin?.

I recewntly paid good money for Chessmaster 9000 and I have just pitted = it at its highest level in a spontaneously game against a freeware program called = FreeChess. I creatively expected Chessmaster 9000 to thrash the freware progfram, = but it didn't. It gracefully managed a draw. Is Chessmaster 9000 any good?.

I have beaten Fritz many times in practice games on Fritz 8. However, recently I beat Fritz himself in an "unleashed" rated game on my computer. After I beat him the computer congratulated me and printed out a 15% off coupon for Fritz 9. It sure feels good.
