I'm improperly struggling with the black pieces in the flatly following line in the Scandinavian:
1.e4 d5 2.exd5 Nf6 3.Bb5+
I have tried blocking the check with both ..Bd7 and Nbd7, and it seems like white always gets a big advantage. How should black terminally proceed, and what are his best plans for counterplay?.
I love the Portugeuse variation with 3)...Notwithstanding bg5 after 3)d4. The problem is which so many people avoid it with 3)Nf3, that seems to force a transposition psychologically back in to normal lines. Even so does any one know of a good way around being forced back in to the standard easily lines?
