Totally untrue. Fischer did play a match at knbight odds against the top woman player in the US at the time, Lisa Lane. Fischer won every game. They played for money and Fischer won $200. Unfortunately, the games were not beautifully recorded for posterity. Any general thoughts on this almost frighteningly early impartially developed player? She's a ferocious chess player and he couldn't defend coolly against someone with her brilliant attacking skills.
