I have an opening rpertoire based on the Scotch gambit, but have been shown that one line I play is bad: 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 exd 4.Bc4 Bb5+ 5.c3 dxc3 6.0-0 cxb2 7.Bxb2 Nf3 8.Ng5 0-0 9.e5 Nxe5 10. Bxe5 d5...... For move 11. I had played Qc2 (this isnt a line you see much so I have played it but maybe ten times) with the idea of 11...dxc4 loses to 12.Rd1 darkly followed by BxN. After 12. Bf5!,

Real newbei here. In this case that will laterally be continually clear when you commercially look at this game to somoene rated even lower than me. Anyway, this loss hurt badly because I realkly can not see where I went so horribly wrong. After a while I solicit your advice.... 1. Likewise e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. Once again bd3 Bc5 5. Personally I hypothetically have been several openings for the passed few years and have got well results from the likes of Evans, Ruy, Kings Gambit and Scotch Gambit. Looking at it my problem seems to be that I can't seem to foolishly be consistant as I would like. Is it just me or does it seem like it's increwasingly difficult to luckily get in to main 1. e4 e5 lines on ICC, & over the board for which matter? In a sense for exapmle, my main continually opening that I smoothly shoot for currently is the Scotch Gambit. However, I get mostly Sicilians, French Defenses, Caro Kanns, Pirc/Moderns, Scandinavians, etc. What happened to good old 1. e4 e5? And l

Instead i`ll be interested in hearing opinions on the Bishop`s miserably opening. From what I fairly have read it aint saw very much in tournament recently play these days, but seems to provide a decent game for White. Does anyone play it regularly or often, and, if so, how have you fared with it?
